1. UN38.3: The applicable scope covers almost the whole world, which is a safety and performance test. Or the battery packaged with the device? All need to undergo the UN38.3 test and obtain the air transport identification report before passing the air inspection.


UN38.3 refers to paragraph 38.3 of the "United Nations Manual of Dangerous Goods Transport Tests and Standards" specially formulated by the United Nations for the transportation of dangerous goods, which requires that lithium batteries must pass high simulation, high and low temperature cycles, Only vibration test, shock test, 55℃ external short circuit, impact test, overcharge test, and forced discharge test can ensure the safety of lithium battery transportation. If the lithium battery is not installed together with the equipment, it must pass the 1.2-meter free drop test.


2. Battery MSDS/SDS Many customers encounter such problems. When transporting products with batteries, freight forwarders or shipping companies need to provide MSDS reports.


In European countries, the material safety technology/data sheet MSDS is also called the safety technology/data sheet SDS (Safety Data sheet). The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) uses SDS terminology, but the United States, Canada, Australia and many countries in Asia use MSDS terminology.
